Giveaway Closed. I was lucky enough to walk into Michaels as the grab bags were being rolled out into the store for purchasing and there were many I had guessed that were "Back to School" themed. Three bags looked to have "Red Heart" and "Loops and Threads" labels pressed up against the flimsy plastic! Hope you are all staying safe! OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 1. Eligibility: Urban Yarn Giveaway is open Worldwide SEE DETAILS. In the USA: only to legal residents of the United States (excluding its territories and possessions) and Washington D.C. who are of adult age determined by the country they reside in, and at the time of entry (“Entrant"(s)). Void in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and any country where prohibited (note insert by Urban Yarn – I don't know why this is in here, but I will also comply). The Giveaway is sponsored by Urban Yarn and not by YouTube in any way. 2. Prize: The Giveaway allows Entrants to enter random drawings, as described below, on the Urban Yarn YouTube Channel for a chance at the Giveaway Prize Package of a undetermined number of yarn that will equate to the shipping value of CAD$80 (Canadian Dollars) to the winner's country of residence. The average retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize was purchased at the discounted value of CAD$10 (Canadian Dollars). THE ODDS OF WINNING THE PRIZE DEPENDS ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. One Prize will be awarded in this giveaway. No Prize substitution or cash alternative is allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a Prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded. The Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes (duties), and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize received. 3. Prize Claim: The Winner needs to notify the sponsor (Urban Yarn) that they acknowledge they have the winning comment and are the the recipient of the giveaway prize. The Winner needs to use the gmail account that they have used to set up their YouTube account – this way the winner can be verified as the true person for the prize, and email [email protected] their appropriate mailing address by no later than October 25, 2020. The prize may be awarded to a new recipient Winner if no contact is made by October 25, 2020. For the USA – The Winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”) within 7 days of notification, or as directed by the Sponsor. The failure to respond timely, to the notifications and the failure to provide the Prize Claim Documents will result in forfeiture of the Prize and, in such case, the Sponsor may declare an alternate winner, based on another random drawing. If a Prize goes unclaimed or is forfeited by the Winner, the Prize may not be re-awarded, in Sponsor’ sole discretion.
