I Drove BMW's New iX - Even The Base Spec Is Superb

BMW has responded to a fresh threat from the Polestar 3 by updating its iX SUV with more power, upgraded tech and a design refresh. While still very much wearing a face that divides opinion, the new BMW iX gets a significant bump in performance thanks to a near 100hp increase to 408hp for the entry-level xDrive 45 we're driving here. Power lovers can, of course, get more muscle from the 659hp iX M70 xDrive, but as Ben Welham confirms in our video, the 45 can still put a big smile on your face. Although with a £76,215 starting price (versus £117,515 for the M70 range-topper), it'll need to do more than that.
