She did her postgraduation in ophthalmology from C.U. Shah PG Training Centre in 2001 Followed by the Cornea Fellowship training programme in 2003. She Completed her FRCS (Glasgow) in 2003. She is currently working as associate cornea consultant. She was adjudged the best outgoing postgraduate student in 2001 and was awarded the Best Associate Consultant for the year 2005-2006. She had the opportunity of undergoing a Short term observership in Ocular Surface Disorders with Dr. Scheffer C G Tseng-Ocular Surface Centre, Miami, USA, in 2006. She has to her credit several presentations in national and international conferences and 4 publications in peer reviewed journals.
