(6 Jan 2017) TODD FISHER REMEMBERS MOTHER, SISTER AT FUNERAL OF DEBBIE REYNOLDS, CARRIE FISHER Carrie Fisher, and her mother, Debbie Reynolds, have been laid to rest at a funeral in Los Angeles, where the ashes of the 'Star Wars' actress were carried in an urn shaped like a Prozac pill. The actresses were remembered during a private family service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park-Hollywood Hills following their deaths just a day apart. Reynolds' son Todd Fisher called the service "fitting" and "beautiful." "We have so much of them that was left behind. My sister's words, and all the movies and all the things that they created, and that's what we need to remember. But my mother of course, was one of the most giving people with charities and every which way you can look. And my sister, of course, was also another one that was giving. So they were both Molly Browns, of sorts," Fisher said. He was referring to Reynolds' 1964 film, "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." Fisher also explained the urn that carries the remains of his sister. "Carrie's favorite possession was a giant Prozac pill that she brought home years ago, big pill. She loved it. It was in her house, and Billie (Lourd) and I felt it was where she would want to be. We couldn't find anything appropriate. Carrie would like that. It was her favorite thing, and so," Fisher said. Billie Lourd is Fisher's 24-year-old daughter.
