We should explain how much we enjoy the Lord, it's a natural, spontaneous response of a Christian. A fan of a celebrity will tell about the moviestar to whomever they meet, whenever it's possible, likewise naturally we should tell the greatness of God, what we have experienced. In Acts chapter 8 when Stephen was killed, in such crisis also people when they were scattered, they ran and spread gospel, they were spontaneous. If we meet the moviestar we will post in social media, it'll become viral, likewise, if we know the greatness of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, how much we love Him, how much we spend time with Him, we'll share spontaneously. Past 20 to 30 years, when gospel was spread, people would listen, but now people are not in a situation to listen, they cross question, they give counter arguments. So, we should equip ourselves to share gospel. Firstly, our language should be simple. Secondly, we should understand how the other person is thinking, what is their centiments and beliefs, values, thinking, culture, empathizing with it, with love and respect to the person, we should tell gospel, just because we should tell, we shouldn't dump the gospel, not in way like if you want to listen, listen otherwise die. A rich young Jewish ruler came to Jesus, and Jesus told him that he lacks one thing, and when Jesus asked him to sell all his riches to poor and to come and follow Him, listening to this he went back sorrowfully. Even after Jesus knew that he would go back sorrowfully, Jesus looked into him, loved him, and said this. So, in the same way, when we are preaching gospel, even if the people reject the gospel, we should still love them genuinely. We should love our friends, colleagues and neighbours, out of sincere concern and love for them we should preach the gospel, we should not argue with them, we should explain it to them clearly in a loving and a friendly way. How positively we speak, that positively we get back the result and how negatively we speak, that negatively we get back the result. Thirdly, we should read Jesus Christ in the word of God , He is present in all the 66 books, especially in the new testament and in the four Gospels. So, if you want to be an effective Evangelist, study the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus Christ. In today's contemporary world, if we try to apply this, in India there is caste system, and in colleges there is ragging , there is unrighteousness, there is loneliness, money problems, love affairs, selfishness, how Jesus addressed all of these and how He is a sufficient Saviour, a sufficient Lord and a right answer to all these problems, we should study all these. How Jesus can be a great friend who can remove loneliness, and a great lover who can give you a pure precious love, and He even sanctifies your love, how Jesus is an Equalizer who can equalize everything. Our God is a great God who can solve all our problems. If we see the conversation of Jesus and Samaritan women, how He dealt with the Samaritan women, how He told a story about the good Samaritan and how He made the Samaritan as a hero and told it to the Jews. So, when we study all of these, we can understand His character, how He equalised. More than us, Humanists, Revolutionists are understanding Jesus Christ by studying about Him, so from this we come to know how relevant Jesus Christ is to India, Indian youths, adults. Understanding Jesus in the context of India. We will understand how to spread the gospel, then we will understand that Jesus is not a foreigner. Today if we see about the counter arguments, for example Karunakar Suguna took a verse from bible Matthew 1:21, "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS for He will save His people from their sins", so he said that means, Jesus came only to save Jews and not others. So, what is the answer that you should give is, that's not the only verse, There are other verses that tells that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. as per Acts 10:36 Jesus is just not the God of Jews, but for everyone including Indians, When Jesus was leaving the earth told His disciples to spread the gospel to all the people all over the world. To be witnesses of Him to people in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the Earth. So, the mission of Jesus Christ is not confined to Jewish land. So, instead of spending more time in social media, we should spend time in researching the word of God, because as Youths we can grasp more and be active for Jesus Christ. If we get equipped like this, and if we take some bible courses also, we can become an effective Evangelist in the campus, in office, in neighbourhood.
