ALL our water is FREE! - how does our rainwater harvesting system work?

Welcome back to Heronbrook Farm! Lambing still continues under lockdown, but having received loads of questions about it, in this episode, Phil explains how our rainwater harvesting system works. Our relatively simple system has the potential to collect over 170,000 litres of water per year and we can store over 12,000 litres. This means we use no mains water at all on the farm for watering the animals, washing and cleaning the vehicles & yard and all other farm purposes.
