SWFL Eagles ~M15 & E22 FOIL THE INTRUDER! E22 Claims Prey! Fishing Attempt + Pond Fun & Lawn 5.29.23

Happy Memorial Day everyone! E22 flies in to the attic and is followed by two eagles flying overhead and past the nest. E22 is mantling and squeeing but the eagles continue to fly to the west and out of view. E22 stays on the attic and greets the morning - heads to the U branch and then flies off to the pond. E22 then flies very low over the pond and skims the water for another fishing attempt grabbing at something and takes it to the bank -(it is not food but debris). E22 then does some bottom dipping and then heads to the overhang branch in the cove. E22 will do branch hopping and end up on the pylon. E22 will go to the lawn and walk up to the base of a palm tree before flying off to the driveway fence. Later, we see M15 flying in to the nest followed by the female intruder and E22 who is squeeing. M15 lands, the intruder goes to the attic and E22 lands on a branch below the nest. M15 takes the prey (rk squirrel) with him and flies off - the intruder is mad and follows him and E22 will fly off and circle back and land on the nest. E22 will then head to the attic determined to protect its nest and sees Dad coming in again with the rk squirrel! E22 drops to the nest and mantles and claims it! Looks like M15 was able to keep the prey from the intruder!! E22 eats and then goes to the porch and flies off to the office oak afterwards! Thank you for watching!
