A farewell walk around Military Circle Mall, a long-standing mall finally laid to rest.

Military Circle Mall was a local mall located just outside of downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Having first opened in 1970, the mall would go through several owners, renovations, anchor tenant iterations, and even movie theaters over the course of its life. In the 2010s, the mall unfortunately started to get a reputation for crime, and this, combined with a dwindling store selection, would drive customers away from the mall. The mall continued to suffer through the 2010s until the mall permanently closed in 2023 in favor of redevelopment plans that, as of this video, have yet to be finalized.
