Despite being on a budget, I managed to plan a memorable day for my wife and I. Our journey began with an eye appointment for our premature baby boy, Eli, which turned out to be a relief as the doctors confirmed his healthy development. After the appointment, we turned the day into a romantic day date in Raleigh. Exploring the free exhibits at the Museum of Art was an enriching experience, although a bit chaotic with our lively toddler in tow! We then savored a delicious lunch downtown and soaked in the sights before heading back home to Wilmington. Both Tyler and Ellie were exhausted and fell asleep in the car, allowing us to arrive safely. Back home, we unwound with a cozy evening by the fire pit, enjoying s'mores and music in the background. Despite our best efforts, Eli decided it was bedtime, making us end the night earlier than planned!
