Classes and how-to workshops can be a great complement to your Library of Things, whether they help people learn how to use your inventory, repair things, or just build community. Sharing knowledge and skills is a natural extension to sharing objects. This chapter, “Building successful educational programming,” dives into what it takes to create great supplemental programming at your LoT, including people power, curriculums, student management, space and tools, assessments, and money. The videos in this series were recorded during Shareable's Library of Things Co-Lab—between March and May 2024 and have been edited into chapters.
