Cliff’s first company founded in 1990 was focused on Leadership and HR/LD Development, which he led as a CEO until he retired and then sold the company some years later. Cliff then went to follow his passion for EI and founded the Emotional Intelligence Academy (EIA). Since then he has partnered with Paul Ekman PhD and brought Paul’s research across the globe. He developed a new EI model which was published in 2020 with Paul as a mentor and Don Saklofske PhD as his external examiner. Cliff is also a scientific advisor for Behavior Analysis on a real-crime series “Faking It: Tears of a Crime” produced by Warner Bros. Discovery.
