A drive around an estate in Milton Keynes called Netherfield on Wednesday, 19th October 2022. Netherfield was originally built between 1972 and 1977, and I moved to Milton Keynes in 1977 and lived in 239 Broadlands. It's fair to say Netherfield has seen better days. On the day I filmed, the waste disposal men were coming around, so all the rubbish bags on the side were for them. Date: Wednesday, 19th October, 2022 Recorded with GoPro Hero 11 Black - 4K60fps Edited with Davinci Resolve 00:00 - Start of drive in street called Broadlands 02:09 - When we moved to Milton Keynes in 1977, we first lived in 239 Broadlands, just here on the left 02:24 - Streets have side alleys that allow you to get to the garages at the back of the houses. 02:41 - Used to ride my bike as a child up and down here. 03:58 - Moving into Farthing Grove 04:30 - We were all learner drivers once. I'm sure they thought it would be quiet, with no cars. ;-) 05:55 - There used to be an Owl and the Pussy Cat play park just to the right. Long gone. 06:33 - To the right, there used to be an old people's home. Now it's just a wasteland. 07:09 - Netherfield Local Shops 08:40 - Moving into The Hide 11:40 - Back in the day, this was a skateboard park with a ramp.
