Sticky shutter button syndrome apears when the camera collects dust,water,grease and sweat through the shutter button gaps and it goes directly between the two layers of the button mechanism,thereby it obstructs the proper work of the button and circuit. With a little amount of pure isopropyl alcool (95-99%) you can wash the grease away and it will not affect your camera if you will do it right. Just try not to get some alcool in your LCDs. Tilt your camera like in the video and pour some alcool in the battery compartment,but don't forget to remove the main battery and the small one that is hidden. Then just play with the button. Do it 2-3 times. It is better to pour alcool with a clean syringe,it will be more accurate. Next step is to pour some alcool in a little cap and to leave it near the camera,this way you will see whan the alcool will evaporate. Leave your camera at least for 12 hours to dry,then if it still doesn't work properly you can try one more time that procedure. You must understand that it is not so easy to wash all the grease that was collected many years under your button. Good luck and leave comments if you fixed or not your camera.
