We left the city to build our dream farm in Portugal! Join us for the first full house tour of our traditional stone farmhouse restoration project. We are transforming an old "Quinta" into a self-sufficient sanctuary. In this video, we share our journey of moving to a remote village in rural Portugal. After years of living in the noisy and polluted city, we finally found our peace surrounded by majestic mountains. Our new home is a traditional T2 house with deep stone foundations, ancient olive trees, and a fruit orchard. The renovation has officially begun! We are ripping out old carpets, installing energy-efficient PVC windows, and completely rewiring the electricity and plumbing. It's a massive DIY project filled with rubble and hard work, but we are excited to restore every inch of this property. Don't miss the end of the tour, where we show you our ancient "Lagar" (traditional wine press) and reveal our plans for the ground floor. Subscribe to follow our stone farmhouse restoration and the upcoming full bathroom reveal! 🌿🏠🇵🇹 0:00 Leaving the city for freedom 1:15 Why we chose this remote village in Portugal 2:45 The Stone Farmhouse: Exterior & Foundations 4:20 Inside the House: T2 Layout & Renovation plans 6:10 The Chaos: Electricity, Water, and Rubble 8:00 Upgrading to PVC Windows & Wooden Floors 9:35 Exploring the Land: Olive Trees & Fruit Orchard 11:20 The Mystery of the Ancient "Lagar" (Wine Press) 13:00 What’s next?
