Paper Mache Paste Recipe - Cheap, Easy and Strong!

This paper mache paste is so easy, it's almost cheating to call it a recipe. It's fast, it's strong, and it works as well as any other paste recipe I've tried. The only problem with this paste is that it isn't transparent when it dries, like the cooked flour and water paste, so you won't want to use it if the paper itself will be the final surface of your sculpture, with no paint covering it. And, obviously, if you have a wheat or gluten allergy, you won't be able to use this recipe. But I've been using this paste recipe for years, and it's still my favorite.
