Sucky Snippets: PUP at the Bronson Centre, Ottawa, March 26, 2022

When I don't have the whole show, I'll share sucky snippets! This is the only time I've seen a band tour in support of an album before the album had actually dropped. It was a unique experience to hear some of the songs for the first time live. Because it was so early in the tour, Stefan joked we were seeing a worse version of the band than usual, and I think he called it "shitty PUP", which is why you hear the audience cheering that. Technically, this was my first PUP show, having seen them as Topanga in 2012 when they toured with Hollerado. Stefan was very kind and helped me get all the Hollerado guys to sign a beach ball they used during the show, so I did follow them on social media and stay aware of their activities until I finally realized how much I love their music.
