UK-Ukraine Season of Culture 2022

The British Council and the Ukrainian Institute are delighted to present the UK/Ukraine Season of Culture – a year-long programme of cultural activity supporting the Ukrainian arts sector. Celebrating 30 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Ukraine, the Season will see a programme of activities, events and grant-funded projects bringing together artists, creators and educators from the UK and Ukraine. It will also provide new opportunities for Ukrainian artists to connect with the UK, including through residences, talks, films and lectures. With the ongoing war in Ukraine, the Season’s theme is ‘Future Re-Imagined’, focusing on the changed needs and priorities of the Ukrainian arts sector, giving a voice to Ukrainian creatives, both in the UK and online.
