Intel might be planning a “Unified Core” future… but before anyone starts celebrating the death of P-cores and E-cores, let’s slow down. In this video I break down the actual source of the rumor (an Intel job posting that mentions a “Unified Core” team), what it could realistically mean for future CPU designs, and why it matters, especially for gaming. More importantly, I connect it to real-world performance and the stuff you actually feel: frametime consistency, 1% lows, and 0.1% lows. I’ve tested this myself by disabling E-cores and Hyper-Threading across modern games, and the takeaway is always the same: average FPS doesn’t tell the full story, and hybrid scheduling can be totally fine or a complete mess depending on the title. We’ll also simplify what “same IP, different power targets” could mean, why gamers still prefer monolithic designs, and whether Intel’s approach could make hybrid CPUs feel less unpredictable without sacrificing the productivity gains. for behind the scenes, stuff that doesn’t make it to video, or just thoughts about my interests; Follow me on Instagram / dannyzreviews Follow me on Twitter / dannyzreviews ***Support the channel by donating!**** https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
