In 2009, a group of brave miners drilled deep underground to find power crystals, the energy source of their vehicles. While mining, they made a startling discovery! There were little creatures living down here made of rock, and they didn't like sharing their crystals with the miners. The creatures, called Slufrix, attacked! To defend themselves, the miners had to build new vehicles, and they became... the Power Miners. Using the power crystals and their awesome new earth-moving machines, the Power Miners kept the Sulfurix at bay, until a new creature awoke. It was a monster far larger and more terrifying than any Sulfurix they had encountered. The caverns echoed with its roar as the ground convulsed under the massive monster's footsteps. The Power Miners had a new foe to face, the ruler of all rock monsters... the Crystal King! Justin reviews his first Power Miners set, and it's the big baddie of the line, the Crystal King (8962)!
