SIMEX ON MASS SHOOTING INCIDENT IN ZPPSU | Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State - Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ZPPSU-DRRMO) headed by Incident Commander Dr. Michael Cabiles, in coordination with the Seaborne Company of the Philippine National Police - 9 conducted a simulation exercise on a mass shooting at ZPPSU Grounds today, April 13,2023 This aims to test the readiness of the university in the possible occurrence of a man-made disaster such as hostage taking and massive shootive incident. This also teaches the employees and students on how to respond during hazardous situations. Also present during the simulation exercise were Philippine Coast Guard and Philippines Coast Guard Auxiliary 304th Squadron,ZPPSU marshals, core officials from the different departments, among others.
