Like a lot of latter day saints, Wendy Nelson, did not enjoy family history. In fact the operative word that she described when even thinking about doing genealogy was "guilt". That changed one day as she decided to pray about and for those who needed help on the other side of the veil. What followed that and many other prayers were many miracles and thinning of the veil experiences. In an article written for LDS Living magazine, on November 11, 2019, she describes in detail the angelic interventions that are inherent in the Gathering of Israel.
