United Nations International Day of Tolerance - Moment of Silence @ Berkeley Lab - 11/26/18

On Monday, November 26, 2018, ~225 Berkeley Lab staff, both onsite and remote, participated in the International Day of Tolerance moment of silence. Sponsored by the Berkeley Laboratory Employee Resource Groups, the event was led by Laboratory Director Michael Witherell and featured UC Employee Assistance Director Craig Mielcarski. Director Witherell spoke to the importance of tolerance and how the work that the ERGs do help to promote a culture of acceptance and belonging. Mr. Mielcarski described the services offered by his office which are part of the free services offered to all LBNL employees.
