I have a very special video for you this week!! I've been wanting to cover this song ever since I played Persona 4 Golden on the Switch earlier this year. My initial plan was to cover it as an instrumental cover where I'd play the vocals on guitar but I quickly gave up on the idea as I thought it would lose a lot of the original's energy. I was then exposed to Lilly's singing through a FFVIII collaboration she did on Fuzz Pixel's channel (which you should also check out) and I instantly reached out afterwards. This is the first time I ever bring a solo singer to the channel and I'm so glad I did! Lilly brought this song to a whole new level which I could never have done with a simple instrumental cover.
