The top mount intercooler that comes on a TD42Ti doesn't quite cut it when it comes time to get a bit more out of your diesel dinosaur. It's an overlooked mod that people don't really think is important. I see way too many setups with just a hot pipe/crossover pipe & people don't realise just how much better it is to drive if you intercool also. The factory 11mm pump & HT18 does have a lot more to give if you know how to massage them but you absolutely need to upgrade the intercooler first.
