Tsimane is located within a National Park and Indigenous Indian Territory, where the Amazon jungle meets the Andes Mountains. The landscape is incredibly wild and remote and its gin-clear rivers are serpentine through jungle and mountains, affording anglers the ability to wade and sight-cast to a myriad of different jungle game-fish. This jungle environment remains in an absolute virgin state and is arguably one of the most pristine, wild and natural expressions of the world. Millions of butterflies of impossible colors flitter in the warm breeze, the rumor of hundreds of hidden birds and animals resound from the depths of the jungle. Our rivers are inhabited by two different species of Dorado and other fish from the Amazon basin, such as the Pirapitinga Amazon Pacu and the Yatorana (pound by pound, one of the strongest fresh-water species in the World).
