Our Process -- Multi-Fill

Learn about how your company can use the volumetric fillers on your factory line. Our process has four steps, Discovery, Testing, Engineering, Installation and Support. Discovery: The discovery meeting is where we learn about your company and your goals. Different products have different needs, and each factory line is unique. The discovery meeting is a critical first step to determine how to best support you and your company. Our team will discuss how long your factory has been in operation, what equipment you are already using, and some specifics about your products. Multi-Fill machines can work with most foods that are particulates, aggregates, soft cooked, and hard, including cooked sticky rice. See some of the foods we can fill here. Next will be your package--what are you filling with your product? Pouches, cups, trays and bowls are all ideal for our machines. The specifics about your packaging, such as exact size and material, will be discussed in the Engineering step of the process. Product Test Once you know that Multi-Fill could be a good fit for your product and food line, it's time to test your product on our machines. We have two testing centers, one at our main factory in West Jordan, Utah, USA, and the other just outside of Manchester in the UK. Our team is standing by to receive your product, and to do a test run on our machines. You are encouraged to travel to our location and see the machines for yourself, and to witness the product test. Multi-Fill machines can work well with all kinds of products, including vegetables, pasta, rice, whole grains, meats, seafood, fruit, prepared salads, and more. You can see some of our past tests on our video page. When it comes to knowing if Multi-Fill is a good fit for your factory line, nothing compares with seeing our machines in action. While you are here, you can also see how easily our machines can be disassembled and cleaned, and you can meet our engineers who will work alongside you and your team to develop a custom solution so that your factory can enjoy the benefits of speed, lowered wastage, and a more consistent fill. A successful product test will give you the green light to proceed to the next phase in the process. Engineering: The engineering step is where things get exciting. Our technical team works with you or your team to understand the specifics of your line. How fast does your line move? Is it continuous, or stop and go? What conveyors are you using? Will you need a distribution system, to fill multiple containers at once? During the engineering step, you will share with us the dimensions of your line, your existing equipment, and your containers. Knowing the exact dimensions of the container you are filling will ensure you can get the right machine, that will integrate with your system and give you the efficiency and cleanliness that Multi-Fill is known for. This phase is usually the longest phase in the process, because everyone is working hard to get things right. You will review drawings, renderings, and equipment layout plans in order to ensure you have the solution that fits your space. Our engineers have experience working and communicating with all levels of companies, from large multi-national operations to small, single factory startups. You can be assured that you can finish this step with confidence, knowing that your product is going to look, feel, and especially taste its best. Installation and Support: Once engineering and manufacturing is complete, your machine is shipped out to your factory. You'll have an engineer from Multi-Fill there on site with you to help work out any kinks during the installation. Our machines are guaranteed, and our team will stay with you until everything is settled down and working. You continue to have support after the installation. Our engineers are available for technical questions even years down the line. Many of our machines are still in service after thirty years. Even so, it's easy for you to get and install repair parts. You can always call on our repair team to keep your equipment maintained or to get things running again if something breaks.
