I have tried to get this one done for a long time. Here we go at last. Hop Nation Jedi juice, an OG NEIPA. Also the most technical EZ Extract brew so far. I came up about 4 points short on target gravity, with a small extra dex addition, but this has allowed me to fine tune the efficiency settings within my recipe software to get closer in future brews. Revised recipe: Mash - 6 litres water @ 66c for 30 min. 1.46kg Pilsner malt of choice 670gm Rolled/Flaked Wheat 670gm Wheat Malt Boil 30 minutes. 36gm Riwaka @ 30 minutes. Whirlpool. 15 minutes @ 90c. 28gm Citra 28gm Mosaic Add: 1.23kg Dry Pilsner Malt(lightest you can get) 460gm Dry Wheat Malt 310gm Dry Oat Extract(add oats to mash if you can't get dry) 290gm Dextrose. Chill and add to fermenter, top up to 20 litres. OR Add to 14 litres cold water, adjust to 20 litres as needed. OG 1.068 FG 1.014 ABV 7.1% Hazy Yeast of choice Ferment 17c for 4 days then dry hop 40gm each Citra and Nelson Sauvin, raise to 18c for 3 days then dry hop 40gm each Citra and Nelson Sauvin, raise to 19c for 3 days. Cold crash at 1c for 2 days Keg or bottle. Rest 2-3 weeks.
