"We keep going on, in spite of shelling": Irma Vitovska-Vantsa, a theater and film actress, producer and public figure from Ukraine, is using her appearances on- and off-screen to spread information on the situation in Ukraine after the full-scale Russian invasion in early 2022. "I know that many of my colleagues had to leave their film and theatre career and had to go to the war with weapons in their hands to fight against enemies", she says. This portrait was created as part of a series presenting Ukrainian artists and their views on the state of culture and art in the Russian war against their home country. The series was presented during the event "Die geflüchtete Seele - Ukrainische Kultur angesichts des Krieges" in Stuttgart, organized by Evangelische Akademie Bad Boll and Kulturhilfe Ukraine des ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen.
