The federal government shutdown has now gone on for a month, and SNAP benefits will lapse for nearly 41 million Americans. “We’re thinking about how we can address family needs that our families take care of on the weekends, and they use their SNAP benefits to do that,” John Hull, CEO of Everett Gospel Mission, said.
