Winners of the MOBO Award for Best Alternative Music Act 2025, ALT BLK ERA, perform the 2024 single "Come On Outside", from their UK Official Rock & Metal Chart No.1 debut album "Rave Immortal", live at The Lodge, The Deaf Institute, Grosvenor Street, Manchester on Tuesday 15 April 2025, the sold-out opening night of their Rave Immortal UK Tour. A supremely confident and entertaining live act, who have performed at Glastonbury, Download, Reading, Leeds and SXSW, the hugely-talented Nottingham sisters have a voracious appetite for music of all genres. They write exciting and inventive songs that blend nu-metal, indie and alt-pop as well as drum & bass, rap, and electronic beats. Their independently-released debut album "Rave Immortal" tells the story of 21-year-old Nyrobi Beckett-Messam's personal journey after she was struck down with a sudden, severe illness that confined her to bed in total exhaustion and excruciating pain for almost a year. Together with her 17-year-old sister Chaya and illustrator Olivia Tate, Nyrobi has written and published a zine, "Rave Immortal: A Story of Hidden Disability", to accompany the album.
