Exploring the Stunning Dao Falls in Cebu – Hidden Gem of the Philippines! In today's adventure, we head to the stunning Dao Falls in Samboan, Cebu, just about an hour and 15 minutes away from Moalboal. The day started perfectly with a refreshing coconut from a local market, setting the tone for an amazing journey. The coastal ride was simply breathtaking—the views, combined with the ocean breeze, were calming and therapeutic. It made the ride so enjoyable, keeping me in great spirits the whole way. Upon arrival, I realized the falls were a bit farther than what the map indicated—about 10 minutes down the road. So, if you're using this video as your guide, just keep going and you'll find it! I was greeted by the sounds of karaoke (a true Filipino touch), and after paying a 230-peso entrance fee, I was ready to start the adventure. The walk to Dao Falls was unforgettable, winding through a lush jungle landscape with crystal-clear water leading the way. The water was so clear that it looked like glass, barely rippling—easily some of the clearest I’ve seen in the Philippines. After a short 10-minute walk through the jungle, we reached the canyon. The sight of the blue water surrounded by the steep rock ledges was absolutely stunning. The hike up the canyon was a bit steep but only lasted around 15 minutes. When we finally arrived at the falls, I was welcomed by the peaceful sight of birds and butterflies, which would occasionally dip down to skim the surface of the water. I spent about 20 minutes soaking in the beauty of Dao Falls, enjoying the refreshing water and the peaceful sound of the cascading falls. Before heading back, I took one last dive into the crystal-clear water. Shoutout to my guide, Reggie—super friendly and accommodating!
