The Slaws arrive in Cornwall. Land's End to Holywell Bay.

The Slaws leave Devon and arrive in Cornwall. They visit Land's End and Mrs Slaw spends most of the time moaning about the cost of parking the motorhome and having a photo taken at the signpost. Typical Yorkshire woman 😂 The resort is very commercialised. £10 to park Helga their Hobby motorhome ‪@HobbyCaravan‬ Mrs Slaw cooks sausage and mushroom butties on the gas cooker in the motorhome. Also, £10.95 to get near the famous signpost and have a photo taken 😳 Slaw sneaks a quick selfie in between the payees from over the fence 😉 The views are beautiful and plenty of open space outside of the shopping village though. The campsite for the evening is a Camping and Caravanning Club temporary site at Trevornick Holiday Park. Organised by ‪@CampandCaravanning‬ South West Division. Slaw used the Out and About app to find a site for one night £25.50. They thought they would be on a rally field, but it was a proper pitch on the Holiday Park. The rally had been allocated pitches for their use. Usual prices are around £35.00 per night with a minimum of three nights. Facilities were excellent on site, but true to form the Slaws head out for a walk and a pub stop! It was a pleasant walk down the hill to Holywell Bay; a beautiful sandy bay with toilets and a pub. The two Lhasa Apso dogs had a lovely run and Jessie had fun on the beach and in the water. A bit of a climb back up the hill, but the Slaw's had a pit stop at the 13th Century Treguth Inn quintessentially Cornish with its thatched roof, dark wood interior with low ceilings. Sharp's Offshore pilsner was a welcome refresher with a pasty and chips in the pleasant beer garden. Mrs Slaw will have to reign in when she get's home! 🐷 A stunning Cornish sunset was the perfect end to a perfect day 🌅
