In search for the Pel's Fishing Owl Ep 5: Final day at Ecotraining Lanner Gorge and Pafuri Bridge

Hi all ‪@pjandash‬ and I made a trip to the Northern Kruger with two specific target species in mind, for PJ the Racket Tailed roller (   • Kruger National Park Nov '22: Last day in ...  ) and for me the Pel's Fishing owl. This is the final full day at Ecotraining - For the morning drive we headed out to Lanner Gorge and in the afternoon we finally went specifically to look for the Pel's Fishing Owl. Unfortunately we did not have any luck with the fishing owl, but did have an awesome morning sighting of the Arnot's Chat. We also go some more in camp birding done and PJ even got a new lifer in camp. The afternoon let us witness an awesome sunset but did not deliver the fishing owl we came to see.
