Instead of going straight to Jorleif to accuse the Court Mage, I decided to confront Wuunferth the Unliving himself, not as an accuser but as a colleague of the College. Most would assume that he is responsible for the killings, but it looks to me like a false trail meant to frame Wuunferth the Unfortunately Named. Though, one thing is odd. While there's nobody messing with corpses at the college, Phinis Gestor teaches Conjuration magick that involves raising the dead, and also specifically says to not use them on College grounds... Since Wuunferth made no effort to try to obtain it, I sold it to Calixto. It'll do better as a Curiosity in his shop than sitting in storage at one of my houses. As soon as I walked into the inn, that extremely rude Nord was extremely rude again. Fortunately, he bet me that he could beat me down. I wanted to punch him in the face several times for free, but this worked out even better. After a short nap, I talked with everyone at the inn to find out if anyone else had useful information about the murders, but no such luck. As I left the city, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was forgetting something important...
