Guest Biography Seth S. Leopold, MD is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Washington and Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research (CORR). He received his BA in Biology from Dartmouth College, his MD with honors in research from Cornell, and completed orthopaedic training at the University of Chicago followed by a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Rush. After more than 20 years performing hip and knee replacements and complex revisions, Dr. Leopold redirected his career toward editorial leadership and patient consultation, focusing on decision-making that integrates scientific evidence with patient values. As Editor-in-Chief, he has expanded CORR’s influence into distilling scholarship into accessible, practice-shaping insights.
