This is Game 2 of the Finals match between dayofni and Spawnoza in the January 2024 Beginner Tak Tournament. Spawnoza managed to win game 1 when both players were low on time. Watch and find out! 0:00 Introduction 0:41 Game 2 This is the 2024 January Beginner Tak Tournament, which is played on a 6x6 board with a 15-minute time limit for each player and a 10-second increment per turn. These are 2-game matches, so the players get a chance to play as each color when facing each opponent. The tournament was played in six round-robin groups with the winner of each group moving on to a single-elimination playoff bracket. The two players who received a perfect score in their groups had a BYE in the Quarterfinals and moved on to the Semifinals. The first-place winner of this tournament gets their pick of the Wolf and Hawk metal capstones or a 2nd Edition Tak Set(provided by Greater Than Games) as a prize with second place taking what remains. Additionally, there is a drawing for 4 random players who completed all of their games to win either a paperback copy of Mastering Tak: Level 1 or a high-level game review from a top player.
