The Arachnid Lair is a newly changed Area Level (alvl) 85 zone in Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.4. The Lair is next to the Spider Forest waypoint in Act 3. This Area is very friendly for low-mobility characters, especially those without teleport, given its proximity to the waypoint. Unfortunately, many commonly mistake this for Spider Cavern (also appearing in the Spider Forest), which contains Khalim's Eye needed for Khalim's Will's quest. The Arachnid Lair contains Spiders, Maggots, and Fiends in addition to a Super Chest. While the monster Elite Pack density is lower than Area Level (alvl) 85 zones, it is straightforward and fast to clear. Given the lack of Cold immune monsters, this is a crucial area to farm for a Cold Sorceress.
