With the evolution from Agent Builder to Copilot Studio Lite, Microsoft has introduced a feature that gives organizations the guardrails they need to keep agent experiences secure. Why It Matters Agents often connect to sensitive data sources like Microsoft Graph or third-party connectors. Without proper sharing controls, these agents could be exposed to the entire organization, creating compliance and security risks. This update solves that problem. What's New Admins can now manage who can create org-wide sharing links for Copilot Studio agents. This means you can: • Allow all users to share agents org-wide • Restrict sharing completely • Limit sharing to specific users or groups How to Configure It • Go to Microsoft Admin Center • Navigate to Settings → Data Access • Select Agents • Under Sharing Permissions, choose: • All users • No users • Specific users or groups • Save your changes What Happens Next When restricted, the "Anyone" link in Copilot Studio Lite will be grayed out. Users can only share agents with themselves or specific people you allow.
