This build is taking a similar approach as my Ice Strike Monk build. It combines lightning and ice abilities to help you accumulate shock on enemies quickly, freeze them and cause massive AOE explosions with Herald of Ice. This build will destroy bosses thanks to the synergy between lightning rod and cast in shock which triggers socketed spells after you accumulate enough energy from shocking enemies. Since the shock buildup is very fast on this build, spells like ball lightning and eye of winter can be triggered almost immediately to nuke bosses and kill them in less than second. Aside from this builds boss destroying capabilities, it’s also incredible for mapping. When you hit enemies with lightning arrow, several things are going to happen. Lightning beams will chain to other enemies nearby allowing you to shock multiple targets at once, herald of thunder will shoot lightning bolts from the sky when shocked enemies are killed and because herald of thunder is infused with cold support gems like ice bite, cold infusion and glaciation, enemies hit by your lightning bolts will freeze and shatter right before your eyes.
