Lake Camanche campground has 54 miles of shoreline and over 7000 acres of water for outdoor recreational activities. Not this year since outside watercraft is currently restricted due to Golden Mussel. We were not allowed to use our inflatable paddle boards, but were able to use blow up floaties. The whole time we were there, I did not see one boat or any other watercraft on the water. Besides RV sites, Camanche also features 550 tent camping sites, equestrian camping and rental cottages. They even put on outdoor weddings, festivals, and corporate events. Campsite amenities include BBQs, tables, full hookups, hot showers, restrooms and laundry facilities. We arrived on a Tuesday, and pretty much had to whole place to ourselves. We hiked and bike ride the whole park. This place was Supper clean and well maintain. We paid $78 a day. I'm still partial to forest service campgrounds, were its $20 to $30 a day. The tents sites started filling up on Thursday, while the RV's started arriving Friday.
