Can a tiny 1993 Suzuki Carry Kei truck really handle snow tracks and a North American winter? In this video I install a full set of Mattracks on my imported Japanese mini truck and find out what it actually takes to make tracks work on a 660cc platform. This isn’t just a simple bolt-on. I go through all the modifications required to mount tracks on a Kei truck, including clearance issues, mounting adapters, and the changes needed to make everything function properly. Along the way I’ll also show the damage these tracks can cause, the weak points on these little trucks, and how I repaired them so the Suzuki Carry can survive real off-road use. For those who aren’t familiar, this truck was imported from Japan and is powered by a 660cc engine, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, high and low range transfer case, and a locking differential. On paper it sounds capable… but can something this small actually turn a full set of tracks? In this video we answer questions like: • What modifications are required to install Mattracks on a Kei truck • Can a Suzuki Carry 4x4 handle the stress of tracks? • What damage or wear tracks cause to a mini truck • Whether a 660cc Kei truck is powerful enough for snow tracks • If a Japanese mini truck can survive a North American winter If you’re into Kei trucks, off-roading, mini truck builds, or crazy winter vehicle projects, this one gets interesting.
