ingredients and instructions 8 ' pie baked at 400 for 12 minutes crust 2 egg whites (at room temp.) 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 cup sugar 2 cups finely chopped walnuts beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form .add sugar gradually and beat until stiff peaks form. stir nuts into the mixture. place mixture in a greased 8 inch pie plate and form a shell making sure to curve in the sides so you will have space for the filling. form a high rim. bake at 400 for 12 min.(i think i said 10 on the video) cool filling 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1 tblsp. water 1 tblsp. vanilla extract 1 cup choc bits 2/3 cup chilled condensed milk 11/2 cup chilled heavy cream bring corn syrup and water just to a boil in a small pan,stirring .remove from heat and add vanilla and choc bits,stirring to combine and melt choc. cool reserve 2 tblsps. to trim top of pie. in a chilled mixer bowl combine the choc. mixture,condensed milk and heavy cream.. beat with a chilled whip to soft peaks ,starting at low and gradually increasing speed to high.watch the sides of your bowl that the mixture is not spraying too high at the beginning . fill your pie shell and freeze. when firm ,you can trim as desired. if you,ve tossed your mixture in error,as i did,you can melt some choc bits and butter-cool and pipe it.serve pie from the freezer. enjoy Follow on Facebook http://full.sc/U4QqZK And Twitter http://full.sc/RSYUhD
