Abante challenges Magalong to name lawmakers involved in flood control corruption | ANC

Top Story: Manila 6th District Rep. Bienvenido Abante challenged Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong to name the House of Representatives lawmakers allegedly involved in anomalous flood control projects. In a separate issue, Abante expresses his support for Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste, who is filing charges against a DPWH engineer for an alleged bribery attempt. Meanwhile, Senator Jinggoy Estrada is questioning the source of wealth of the Discaya couple, who are contractors for the DPWH, after they showcased their collection of luxury cars in an interview. Estrada says the Senate will also grill the Commission on Audit on how "ghost" projects managed to get approved. The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee is set to continue its investigation into these anomalous flood control projects on September 1.
