#hymn #churchorgan #pipeorgan Me playing the organ of Ainsworth Methodist Church near Bolton. The organ here was originally built by the Manchester firm Young & Sons in 1911 for Jumbo Methodist Church in Middleton, Manchester. In 1966 it then went to Darcy Lever Methodist Church in Bolton. It then came here in 1971 to replace a previous instrument that was in poor condition. In spite of the 3 moves, the specification remains original and reads: PEDAL Grand Bourdon 16' GREAT Open Diapason 8' Stopped Diapason & Clarabella 8' Dulciana 8' Harmonic Flute 4' SWELL Open Diapason 8' Gamba 8' Principal 4' Closed Horn 8' COUPLERS Great to Pedal Swell to Pedal Swell to Great Swell Octave to Great ACCESSORIES 2 composition pedals to great I am playing the hymn "O God our Father, who dost make us one" to the tune 'Morecambe' from the Methodist hymn book 'Hymns and Psalms'. Many thanks to Mike Bainbridge for allowing me access to this fine instrument. Click on the following link to read more about the history of this organ: https://www.mymethodisthistory.org.uk...
