How to make a silk thread button / covering a bead with thread - the proper (and faster) way!

This video will show you how to cover a bead with thread to create a small button or embellishment - without spending ages going around and around the bead, slowly filling up the hole, and wondering why you decided to make however many buttons for that doublet! :) This is the professional method, also known as satin wrapping. I have already made a video showing how to cover larger, shaped moulds using this method, here's the way to cover the little beads. It's perfect not only for 16th & 17th century buttons, but also for stumpwork berries and fruit, as well as drop embellishments on other form of passementerie.
