They’re everything you want in homemade bread; crispy crust, soft interior, and packed with flavour. These sourdough bread rolls are perfect as a side dish, sandwich rolls, or enjoyed on their own warm from the oven. Whether you’re new to sourdough baking or looking for a new sourdough recipe to try, this easy step-by-step method will guide you through making artisan rolls at home. On warmer days, I use a 1:5:5 ratio or 1:6:6 instead. I typically mix it in the evening and let it ferment overnight. By the next morning, it’s ready to use for baking. Water 210ml(initial) + 15 ml (reserved for later) ※1. Malt Extract 1g (optional) Active starter 60g(100% hydration) Bread flour 300g( protein 12.5g ) Salt 6g ※1. Use room temperature water on warm days. If it’s cold, use lukewarm water instead. ※2. Bread flour absorbs water differently. If you’re not sure, reduce the water.
