He is Professor Emeritus of Art, Division of Art, Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. Previously, Corris held the post of Professor of Fine Art at the Art and Design Research Center, Sheffield Hallam University (Sheffield, United Kingdom).
