As ACEs screening becomes more widespread, providers may lack knowledge about engaging families in the screening process in a way that supports healing within a data-informed framework. The Five Protective Factors model addresses this knowledge gap in a strength-based way that supports providers in making data-informed decisions about services and treatment. Learners will be able to: 1. Understand and discuss the proposed relationship between ACEs screening and the Five Protective Factors framework 2. Practice responding to families’ needs from a strengths-based, data-informed Protective Factors approach 3.
