Senior Editor Alex reviews the Adidas Adios Pro Evo 1: the best running shoe in the world in 2024. The Pro Evos are unlike any other supershoe: they weigh about half as much as their competitors, have far less carbon in their midsole, and cost a whopping $500 USD -- almost twice as much as any shoe on the market. They were once rumoured to be too fragile to last more than one race: Adidas denies that claim, and few others can even weigh in, because you can't find the Pro Evos anywhere. BUT: Alex secured a pair of Pro Evo 1s on the day before his first-ever half-marathon, and put them to the test that weekend.
