BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 2010's Hawkeridge Junction (Westbury) + Frome Station (Somerset) 15th December 2012 It's that time of year again, Christmas Specials and Market Specials This short video is of the Junction shortly before the station at Westbury in Wiltshire, on the line from Bath and Bristol. With the normal class 150s and 158s seen is RTC's 'The Christmas Devonian' from Bristol TM to Exeter St Davids, round excursion via Yeovil Pen Mill and returning via Taunton and was hauled throughout with Steam Locomotive 34067 'Tangmere' and trailing WCRC Locomotive 47500. The return clip at Frome was shot in the dim light at Frome Station in the darkness of night, being in the lead up to Christmas. This was the first outing with the new replacement camera and is not up to a level of standard that I would have hoped for, but will improve...Hopefully. I hope this video takes you back to the period with fond memories.
